The story so far…
1984 – Fingertips Ltd.
The story begins in the early 1970s, when Fingertips began distributing acrylic powder and liquid systems for nail extensions. It was in 1984 that the Tony Coomber, Chairman of the current business, bought the Company.
1986 – Light Concepts Nails Ltd.
In 1986, Tony Coomber was approached by the German manufacturer of the LCN brand (then Light Concept Nails), with a range of pioneering UV gels. It seemed clear that UV gels were a significant technological advance both in terms of physical characteristics and health care considerations, so in February 1986, Light Concept Nails UV gels were first introduced to the UK at the Health & Beauty Exhibition, Brighton.
Following the appointment of the Company as sole importer and exclusive distributor of its products in the United Kingdom and Eire, the Company name was changed from Fingertips Ltd. to Light Concept Nails Ltd.
1998 – LCN (UK) Ltd.
By 1998, the introduction of new ranges like foot care, make-up and the micro-pigmentation brand, PMC, mean’t that nails were no longer the only beauty concept on offer. In order to avoid confusion of identity between brand name and product ranges, Light Concept Nails was rebranded LCN. In the UK, Light Concept Nails Ltd. became LCN (UK) Ltd.
2003 – Beauty Concepts International Ltd. (BCI)
In 2003, as the Company looked to broaden its horizons, the Company name was changed from LCN (UK) Ltd. to Beauty Concepts International Ltd. (BCI).
The Company has expanded steadily ever since, basing its success on a thoroughly professional approach with emphasis on comprehensive training and extensive customer support. The treatment ranges on offer are also quite unique.
Continuing success in product innovation and development has never been allowed to outpace the parallel development of training programmes and customer support.
Rest assured that BCI will always strive to bring you innovative products together with ongoing professional training, continuous product knowledge, and complete customer service back up.
Whether you are a five star Spa, beauty salon, mobile therapist or beauty college, BCI is committed to your success.
Your success is our success.

LCN is the kind of strong, reliable partner that you want on your side.
Successful products are a natural result of continuous research and development, which is why LCN has a reputation for quality and innovation.
LCN established its reputation as a manufacturer of modern UV gel systems for nail cosmetics.
Our experience in this can be traced back over eighty years to 1914, when the manufacturer of LCN products, Wilde Cosmetics, was established as a dental manufacturer in Germany.
By 1985 the original company had split into two divisions, Wilde Medizintechnik and Wilde Cosmetics, so that the cosmetics branch could pursue the development of light-cured UV gels specifically for use in nail cosmetics.
The LCN brand was created on the basis of product innovation yet it stands for more than just technical development: it is a philosophy for success, forging genuine bonds across the entire industry, from five star Spas to colleges.
When you choose LCN, you get a progressive programme of training and education, tried and tested products, expert advice by trained staff and broad product ranges covering all aspects of health and beauty.
Lash bomb is an innovative method of giving the illusion the natural lashes are longer and have more volume using formulations and products made in the UK. The lashes are lifted from the root and set in place over this pad before having our 3-step system applied to the root of the lashes only. Creating a natural looking lift and giving the illusion of length and volume. Making the eyes appear more open without having to spend hours in the salon having semi-permanent lashes applied. Lash Bomb is a quicker and impressive alternative to semi-permanent eyelashes and will enhance the clients own natural lashes, with little or no maintenance for weeks.
